SUMMER SCHEDULE

• June 1st = Dress to get wet! Pool kickball & water games
  6pm-8pm – FREE supper provided! Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and change of clothes .
• June 23rd – 27th = Transform Week Join an intergenerational team serving people in our town. Sign-up your teen, or come serve as a family. Register online
• June 28th = Tubing in Manchester Free if RSVP by June 22nd. We will be doing short trips down the Manchester Whitewater park, then walking our tubes back to the start. Free picnic lunch will be provided

JULY

• July 14th-18th = Outback Camp MS  See Lake View Brochure
• July 25th-26th = Camping, Hiking & Drive-In  $20 per person (by Sunday, July 20th) Hiking in Baldwin & Maquoketa  @ Delmar Iowa Drive-In Theater
• July 28th-Aug. 1st = High School Camp See Lake View Brochure.

AUGUST

• August 2nd = Adventureland (Altoona)  Meet @ Cedar Hills at 8:00am $35 if you register and pay by July 28th.  Send towel, sunscreen, change of clothes, $ for lunch (or sack lunch).
• August 10th = Laser Tag @ Dragon’s Lair  5:45pm-7:00pm RSVP by Aug. 3rd. $15/person – professional equipment and multiple games.
• August 17th = Youth Movie Night 6pm-8pm @ Cedar Hills. Join us for popcorn and a movie.

SEPTEMBER

• September 7th = Youth Group Fall Kickoff! 6pm-8pm = Free supper, games, worship, & small groups.

Sunday Nights

Journey Student ministry is a place for ALL students 6th-12th grade to come walk together on their faith journey.  We meet weekly on Sunday nights from 6pm-8pm during the school year, with regular events throughout the summer.  Each night starts with a café time where you can purchase items like pizza, candy, chips, hotdogs, soda and Keurig coffee drinks.  We rotate between large group teaching, small group discussion and games.  No matter where you are on your faith journey you are invited and welcomed to join us each and every week.

Sunday Mornings

During the school year, we meet 9:45am-10:45am in the Lime Classroom, right hallway. Our curriculum this year is “The Core”. We will be studying the core belief and truths that help us grow as disciples of Jesus.

Faith.Quest – 8th Grade

8th Graders have a unique opportunity on Sunday mornings to attend Faith.Quest, a class designed to teach students to go deeper in their faith, discover ways to link faith and life, find or renew a personal commitment to Jesus and His church, and embark on a journey of growth in that commitment to Jesus.

Faith.Quest students maintain a journal throughout the year and record thoughts, reactions, and questions about each weekly theme. At the end of the session, students have the opportunity to become members of Cedar Hills.

When the Faith.Quest session opens, all eligible students will be notified with start date and details.
