CEDAR KIDS – Age 0 to 5th Grade
It is the mission of Children & Family Ministry to connect our youngest children with Jesus Christ and to each other and to support parents and leaders in their roles as Christian followers and mentors of their children.
We offer a number of ministries for our children ages 0 to 5th grade:
Cedar Camp (our summer VBS program)
CEDAR CAMP – SAVE THE DATE– Mark your calendars for June 14-16, 5:45pm-7:30pm! Camp is for children, ages 4 to 5th grade. Registration will open in May.
Children’s Church
We have a fun and interactive time for children ages 3 to 3rd grade. Our children hear a Bible message, sing songs, do crafts and engage with the Gospel in a way their young minds can comprehend and understand. Cedar Hills’ Children’s Church is offered at the 11am worship service. Your children begin with you in the main service and then are dismissed after the opening songs. Our children’s ministry staff will guide them down the right hallway to the Teal classroom where you can be pick them up right after the main service.
Nursery (0-36 months)
Also, our nursery is staffed during the Sunday Classes hour at 9:45am and at the 11am service. Our volunteers provide a safe and loving environment for any children ages 36 months and under. Parents are asked to pick up their children immediately following the service. The nursery room is available during the 8:30am service for any parents who wish to step in with their children but is not staffed at that service. There is an audio feed of the worship service both outside the doors of the Worship Center and in the nursery. Register your child for the nursery.
Sunday Classes
Sunday classes for all ages are offered during the school year for children and adults. Classes are in between services at 9:45am. We believe the faith foundation starts at a young age. Children ages 3-5th grade can check in at the Children’s Ministry table starting at 9:45am. There is nursery care during the Sunday class hour, as well as a number of Adult classes to choose from.
Cedar Kids Club House
For children K-5th grades, Cedar Kids Club House meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, starting October 6 from 12:00pm-2:00pm and includes lunch. We enjoy games, Bible lessons and special projects your child is sure to love. Your registration helps us plan, but any student K-5th grade is welcome to come. REGISTER ONLINE
