CEDAR KIDS – Age 0 to 5th Grade
It is the mission of Children & Family Ministry to connect our youngest children with Jesus Christ and to each other and to support parents and leaders in their roles as Christian followers and mentors of their children.
We offer a number of ministries for our children ages 0 to 5th grade:
Children’s Church
An fun and interactive time for children ages 3 to 3rd grade. Children hear a Bible message, sing songs, do crafts and engage with the Gospel in a way their young minds can comprehend and understand. Children’s Church is offered at the 11am worship service. Children begin with their families in the main service and then are dismissed after the opening songs. A volunteer walks them back to the Teal Room (right side hallway) where they can be picked up right after the main service ends.
Nursery (0-36 months)
Our nursery is staffed during the Sunday Classes hour at 9:45am and at the 11am service. Our volunteers provide a safe and loving environment for any children ages 36 months and under. Parents are asked to pick up their children immediately following the service. The nursery room is available during the 8:30am service for any parents who wish to step in with their children but is not staffed at that service. There is an audio feed of the worship service both outside the doors of the Worship Center and in the nursery. Register your child for the nursery.
Sunday Classes
Sunday classes for all ages are offered during the school year for children and adults. Classes are in between services at 9:45am. We believe the faith foundation starts at a young age. Children ages 3-5th grade can check in at the Children’s Ministry table starting at 9:45am. There is nursery care during the Sunday class hour, as well as a number of Adult classes to choose from.
Cedar Kids Club House
For children in 2nd-5th grades, Cedar Kids Club House usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month during the school year. We enjoy games, Bible lessons and special projects your child is sure to love. Your registration helps us plan, but any student 2nd-5th grade is welcome to come. REGISTER ONLINE
Cedar Camp (our summer VBS program)
We are excited for Cedar Camp 2024! We have not yet landed on an official date yet, but this new inter generational ministry is one of our summer highlights each year! Look for dates to come (probably mid-July)
