Christmas Eve Worship

Join us for a Christmas Eve candlelight service at Cedar Hills Community Church.  Services are on December 24 at 3pm and 5pm.  We will also be live streaming the 5pm service on Facebook, Youtube, and our website.

We will have a regular 8:30am Sunday worship service Christmas Eve morning to celebrate the last Sunday of Advent, including a special Children’s Church that will dismiss from the service. There will be no 11am service or Sunday classes on Christmas Eve.

Services are a mixture of traditional and contemporary Christmas music with both the organ and worship band instruments–the best of Cedar Hills!

Cedar Hills is at the corner of E Ave and Stoney Point Road NW, next door to Cherry Hill Park.  Visitors are welcome and treasured.

ENTRANCES & PARKING

You can access the church parking lot from both E Avenue and Stoney Point Rd.  There is plentiful parking for our services, as well as handicap spaces available near the building.  A circle drive is available to drop off passengers at the front door before parking. We ask that parking in the circle drive be limited to 5 minutes.

OFFERING

We have baskets available at the back of the room for anyone who wishes to give.  Electronic gifts can be made on the web.   To count towards 2023 taxes, donations must be received in our office by December 31, 2023.

PARENTS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN

An video feed of the service will be running in the Gathering Space (our lobby area) so that if you do need to step out with a child, you can continue to participate in the service.  We love kids and recognize they make noise! And we are okay with that!   Changing tables are available in both women’s and men’s restrooms as well as the nursery.

We will be lighting individual handheld candles, and this can make parents with young children nervous.  Do you best to assist your child with their candles (or share a candle with them).

ACCESSIBILITY

We are fully handicap accessible and have hearing assistance devices available at the Welcome Booth, just outside the Worship Center doors.  Stop in and ask any of our Welcome Booth volunteers if you require a hearing device.  For those with blue-tooth enable hearing devices, you can access the service audio via the WaveCast app which is available in your app store. Our Welcome Team can help get you setup.

RESTROOMS

The restrooms are located to the left side of the Gathering Space. A changing table is available in both the men’s and women’s restrooms, as well as handicap facilities.
