JOURNAL PROMPT
God has given me these good and perfect gifts:

 PRAYER TO GROW GENEROSITY

Dear Father,

Grow in me an abundance mindset and a satisfied heart. I know that I will face challenges in both while living in this broken world. But as someone who has every reason to overflow with thanksgiving, I praise you for your good gifts.

I praise you for being the “changeless Father of heavenly lights,” as opposed to being the impetuous god of shifting shadows. We cannot predict or control you but we can completely trust you to always be good and faithful.

I praise you for the gospel of your grace – the gift of Jesus, who lived and died in our place to make us yours. In him we have every spiritual blessing as a gift of your outrageous generosity.

I thank you because of the many specific gifts given to me and my family. You have given us______________________.  Your generosity in big things and small knows no limits. Thank you.  Father, these are just a few of the many, many gifts that come down from you all the time.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Love. Belong. Serve.
