This Sunday, May 19 will be Jeremy Van Genderen’s final day preaching at Cedar Hills.  He has accepted the Senior Pastor position at Trinity Reformed Church in Allison, Iowa.  So we are celebrating he and his family! The service will have a few surprises, but another one that requires your help! (If you are part of the Van Genderen family… stop reading at this point!!!)

Here’s how to celebrate:

Gift him a neck tie – ugly, new, used, elegant. Clean out your closet! Please wrap them in gift wrap or bags. (If you need to drop them off ahead of time, look for the basket marked “May 19.”)  We will present these near the end of the service, so make sure you drop them off in the “May 19 Basket” at the Welcome Center prior to the service.

Write cards and words of encouragement. Feel free to throw in a love offering to bless him and his family as they transition to this next step in the journey God has for them. These can also be placed in the basket marked “May 19.”
