Theodicy*

Weeping Savior,
Bleeding grace,
Reckless love,
God‘s open face.
Light and darkness
make it clear,
Through the pain
Our God comes near.
Suffering
Purifies the soul,
By his stripes,
We‘re all made whole.
Hanging naked
On a tree,
Heaven‘s great
Theodicy.
*An answer to the question of why a loving, omnipotent God permits evil.
