ADULT Classes (18+) (no registration needed)

Parenting Together, Sundays 9:45am

Parenting Together is a community of parents looking to do life together. Any parent is welcome at any time throughout the year. Our goal is to learn from and with each other as we grow in the role God gave us in raising our kids.  We cover a wide range of topics through in-class discussion and out-of-class gatherings. We meet every Sunday (while our kids are in Sunday school). Teachers: Tyler and Lindsey Steinkamp, Carmen and Luke Gronewold, Justina Conrad, Heidi and Jim Flamming, Cathy Poole, Lindsey and Karl Ungs.

Bible Study: Jesus Drives Me Crazy, Sundays 9:45am

Many people see Jesus as meek, mild, and comfortable. The Gospel of Mark describes an untamable, unpredictable, militant Jesus. This class will invite us into transformative spiritual growth to enable us to navigate difficult times. The key to this discipleship training will be to discover how Jesus reveals the powerful and compelling nature of God’s love. Beware: It might drive you crazy! Led by a team of leaders including Pastor Kent, Dan Hakken, Gary Mills, and more.

Bible Study: Who Am I? Sundays 9:45am

A study of God’s identity and our identity based on the Gospel of John. We will dig into the “I Am” statements of Jesus to help grow our understanding of who God is and how life in Jesus shapes our identity. We will challenge misperceptions and discover new truths about life in Jesus. Led by Alan Crandall and Tim King.

Small Group – Loving in a Broken World, Sundays 9:45am

As followers of Jesus, we were meant to radically love those around us and give the world a glimpse of what God is like. What does it actually mean to love like Jesus? Why do we so quickly get bogged down in our own selfishness, sin, and futile efforts? The first part of the class will use a Bible series by Dr. Les Parrott, based on his book, Love Like That. The second part of the class will work through a discussion guide of Jacqueline A. Bussie’s book, Love Without Limits, which looks at practical solutions for people of faith who yearn to love across division, difference, and even death in today’s troubled times. Led by Gary and Sue Sager; Randy and Christy Fox.

Love. Belong. Serve.
